Contract to receive Windows computer repair services
By receiving service from Steven's Computer Repair, you agreement to the conditions below:
- All customers will be asked if they would like to have a complete backup of their system should anything go wrong. I understand that if i decline this offer, there may be a chance of data loss of any documents, pictures, etc. and will NOT hold the technician doing the repair responsible but know the technician will do his best to keep a scenario such as this from happening.
- I understand the technician doing the repair will not be held liable for any damages that occur to desktops, laptops, accessories, monitors, plug-in chargers, and anything related to the materials that were brought in from the customer UNTIL they have been placed down safely inside the technician's work area once.
- I understand that the technician has no required time limit to complete a repair. Due to unforeseen circumstances, there may be times where repairs could take as long as a 2 months, depending on the issue. I understand the technician will keep in contact with me should such a repair were to occur.
- I understand that the technician will only do repair procedures that are necessary to repair my Windows computer system(s) and will contact me if another procedure is needed before I am charged. If I fail to respond back to the technician within 1 week, I grant the technician permission to do more procedures that are necessary to complete a computer repair and accept the charges.
- I understand the technician is not liable for any data loss from flash drives, hard drives, CDs, DVDs, papers brought with the system, stickers, SSDs, etc. before, during and after the repair.
- I understand the technician is not liable for any damages caused by outside sources such as Lighting, thunderstorms, snow, hail damage, ESD, dust buildup or any unexpected conditions that would cause a system to crash / become faulty / break apart / become loose. I understand the technician will exercise safety measures to prevent such a scenario from occurring.
- I agree that payment for the repair is final and cannot be reimbursed after the technician has resolved my computer issue.
- I agree that if payment isn't given to the technician after a repair, the technician will not return the Windows desktop / laptop / tablet device back to me or any related / unrelated friends / family / etc. until payment for the repair is received.
- I understand that in order to get my Windows computer system back after a repair by the technician, I will need to bring a receipt given at the first repair appointment to pick up my system. A signature will be required at the time of pickup.
